E-LINK for Stroke Rehabilitation
It is estimated that every five minutes one person will have a stroke and their road to recovery will depend, not only on the patient themselves, but on the resources available to them. Once the stroke survivor is medically stable the focus of care moves over to rehabilitation facilitated by the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Rehabilitation is about getting the stroke patient back to living a life that is as independent as possible by re-learning the many skills needed for everyday living.
On this pathway E-LINK for over 20 years has been an invaluable supportive resource for clinicians worldwide who are promoting these goals for stroke rehabilitation.
