Biometrics Ltd is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of technologically advanced sensors, instruments and software for the demanding needs in biomedical and engineering research, clinical rehabilitation and educational settings. Research markets include medical, ergonomic, pharmaceutical and sport science. Clinical markets include physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthopaedics, hand therapy, neuro rehab, sports medicine and medical evaluations.

Biometrics Ltd range of precision patented electrogoniometer systems have been used extensively worldwide in a variety of research settings since 1991. New products include the fully programmable multi channel DataLOG & real time DataLINK, both with multi sensor input including goniometry and advanced surface EMG capability.

Global customers include: thousands of leading corporations, hospitals, research organizations and universities, North American, European and Asian car manufacturers, aerospace, NASA: where Biometrics’ technology is used exclusively for movement studies in the Human Performance Laboratory of the International Space Station.

Biometrics Ltd has manufactured clinical exercise and evaluation equipment since 1993. Developed by therapists and engineers, the latest generation E-LINK systems set the world standard, with a comprehensive range of modules for exercise, evaluation, documentation, progress reporting and physical impairment calculations.

Biometrics Ltd maintains to the highest standard a Quality Management System that is independently accredited to both ISO9001:2000 and ISO13485:2003. The scope of the system includes design, development, manufacture, supply, installation and service of computer based medical systems.

In addition, all systems are independently certified to Safety Standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission EN60601-1:1990, conform to the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, conform to the council Directive relating to Electromagnetic Compatibility by the application of BS EN 60601-1-2:1993, and are listed with numerous international Food & Drug Administrations including the United States of America.
