Two Channel Static Display / Two Channel Amplifier for Dynamic Data Transfer
The ADU301 is a hand held two-channel display unit providing quick and simple readings of joint angle data. Any Biometrics’ Goniometer or Torsiometer may be connected to the ADU301 using one or two of the “J” series cables. No calibration is necessary. The joint to be measured is placed in the neutral position and the zero key is pressed to zero both the LCD (liquid crystal display) and the analog output. Static angles are displayed on the LCD.
An analog DC voltage proportional to the joint angle is obtained by connecting the ADU301 to the output isolation Unit R3000. This small interface unit contains Full Electrical Isolation circuitry for compliance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and comes complete with a mains power supply and cord. Although only one channel may be displayed at a time using the LCD, the dynamic output is continuous for both channels.
