Minimum Computer Specifications
E-LINK Evaluation and Exercise Systems:
This minimum computer specification applies to E-LINK software version 11 when used with E-LINK hardware, product reference X4 InterX Unit, connected to the computer via the USB port and all accessories (product references E4000, H500, R500, FP2, FP3, DFP2, DFP4, M600, ESW, ICSW, LSW) used with the X4 InterX Unit.
E-LINK version 11 software is compatible with Windows 7, Windows VISTA and Windows XP operating systems. Compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
! Important note for Laptop Installations:
Laptops require a dedicated graphics card fitted, this option is not available on all laptop models.
Before installing the Biometrics’ E-LINK version 11 software, confirm your computer meets all the minimum requirements:
- Internet Connection for updating operating system files
- OPERATING SYSTEMS:
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home or Professional, with DirectX 11
- Microsoft Windows VISTA Home Premium or VISTA Business, with DirectX 10
- Microsoft Windows XP Home or XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher, and DirectX 9.0c
- CPU: 32bit Processor (x86), running at 2GHz or Higher
- RAM: 2 GB or Higher
- GRAPHICS: Windows compatible dedicated video card with 128Mb minimum vRAM (100% DirectX compatible) with WDDM Driver. Important Note: Onboard/Integrated Graphis Chipsets are NOT supported
- SOUND: Windows compatible sound card (100% DirectX compatible) and Speakers
- OPTICAL DRIVE: Windows compatible CD-Rom / DVD-Rom
- HARD DRIVE: 500Mb free disk space for installation. Patient Save Files will require more space
- INPUT: 100% Windows compatible mouse / pointing device and keyboard
- DISPLAY: SVGA Monitor / Screen:
- Minimum screen resolution 1024 x 768 pixels
- Maximum aspect ratio 1.6 or less
- CONNECTIVITY:USB 2.0 Port for connection of Biometrics Ltd Hardware
- OUTPUT: Parallel or USB 2.0 Port for Printer
- Adobe Acrobat Reader for use with the Biometrics Ltd PDF Report Output
Hardware NOT supported:
- Onboard / Integrated Graphics Chipsets
- Non DirectX compliant Graphics Cards
- Non DirectX compliant Soundcards
- Extended widescreen monitors or any monitor with an aspect ratio of >1.6
